Red Hot Chili Peppers have just released a music video for Look Around, the third single off their latest album I’m With You.

This is one fun loving clip as the band members each get their own room to showcase their zany personalities while they sing the track.

Each of the rooms are beside each other, and the video for each room is filmed simultaneously while the music plays.

The scenes switch very quickly, going from the brown walled room, to the blue and white room with the drummer, to the greenish room of the bass-guitarist, to the plain white-ish room of the guitar player. Each room is decorated with props and artwork from their own collections.

Various antics occur in each of the rooms … some get up to mischief, some just keep playing.

The video shows some crazy stuff too. Lead singer, Anthony Kiedis is dressed in horizontally striped pajamas which are soon partly discarded. Flea and his girlfriend also reduce their clothing down to their bare essentials as they frolic around the room just being crazy and end up spraying each other with silly string.

The drummer, Chad Smith, has a punching bag hanging in his “room” as the only adornment. He somehow manages to jump over his drums and lay a good one into his punching bag. The scene change occurs so quickly, it’s hard to see exactly how.

Other “props” seen in the rooms include a dog who fits in just wonderfully. He wags his tail and smiles for the camera as he walks around the set and even gets carried around for part of it. There is also a young child, as well as a young lady who climbs out of the refrigerator. Don’t ask why!
